In a multi-family house from the 1930s, the residential units of the first and second floor were conver-ted into a 250 sqm duplex apartment, connected by an internal staircase. On the first floor, which is used for living, cooking and eating, the kitchen presents the central space. It is also the place for the single-flight staircase, which connects the living area with the sleeping area above, consisting of five rooms. With the spacious living area also a new terrace was created, laid out on the underlying ex-tension of the house. Due to the large terrace, the already existing balconies were no longer required. They were glazed and integrated into the living space.
